Happy New Year!
I love everything about the holidays and I thrive on hosting friends and family in our home. There is something magical about getting out the serveware reserved for special occasions, draping the table with beautiful Christmas linens passed down from generations, and filling the air with the scent of a home cooked meal- all while surrounded by the twinkling of lights on the tree and throughout our main living area. We truly have so much to be grateful for and I don’t take any of it for granted.
With that said, my energy levels are depleted by the end of December and January is always a welcomed breath of fresh air. One of my favorite ways to spend the quiet days of the new month is with a book that sparks a light inside of me. A good personal development book can help with goal setting, boosting motivation and self esteem, learning to build confidence.. the list goes on and on. So many of my new year resolutions have been inspired through reading. I have listed some of my favorites for you to check out as well as several that I cannot wait to work my way through!
